Palermo’s Supports Local New Jersey Film Camp with Joey Travolta

Palermo Bakery was very happy to donate two cakes for the Joey Travolta Short Film Camp for individuals with autism held in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on the campus of Saint Peter’s College.  This is the third year Joey Travolta has run the Short Film camp dedicated to teens and adults with special needs.

 

The first cake was made on August 7^th, 2012 for one of the camper’s birthday celebration.  The second cake was made for the August 10^th Joey Travolta Short Film Camp Warp party. Both cakes were created with an “All Things Film” theme, adorned with fondant popcorn, edible film reels, and sugared clapboards.

 

Here is a message from the camp thanking Palermo’s Bakery for the custom movie themed creations:
“Hello! The birthday cake was absolutely AMAZING!!! Emily was SO excited as were all of the campers. Emily’s mother was present too and was very happy! The celebration was filmed by Joey Travolta’s crew and MANY pictures were taken. Again, your generosity is greatly appreciated!!
