6-tier Fondant Drapes, Ruche and Bow Wedding Cake

This amazing 6-tier wedding cake was made for Valerie and Antonio’s wedding on September 4. The bottom is a delicate fondant drape design followed by a stripe wave that is topped with sparkly 2-row cake jewelry. A ruched pearlized design wraps the third tier and on top of that is the bride and groom’s monogram piped on the cake. The second tier from the top is wrapped in a delicate pearlized ribbon that looks just like fabric. To finish it off, the top tier is studded with crystal jewelry and embellished with gumpaste flowers on top. Some fresh orchids were also draped on the bottom of the cake to give it a splash of color.

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
