A Different Kind of Crab Cake

Cake: SC-30160

To match a party held at Joe’s Crab Shack in Clifton, NJ, this special cake was made! A single round tier cake was iced in buttercream to look like water and on top, it was decorated with a piece of fondant to look like newspaper. To finish up the look, beautiful fondant pieces are added on including a crab, corn on the cob and chili peppers! Everyone at the place loved the cake and took tons of pictures!

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
