A summer cake specialty!

This three tier topsy turvy specialty cake was made for the 70th birthday of Lauren’s mother. in a buttercream base, this cake is creatively designed by putting fondant seashells on the bottom tier, and the top tier decorated with the images of a boardwalk. Toy cars were added on the top of the bottom tier to mimic the drive up to the boardwalk. As a topper, a fondant sun and ’70′ was made especially for this cake.

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
