This black and white 5-tier fondant elegant wedding cake was created for a couple who had their wedding at the Florentine Gardens in River Vale, New Jersey.

The cake was covered in full white fondant and was decorated with black fondant stripes on the bottom tier, an elegant black band on the next and more black stripes on the top most. Two black and white fondant bows are also added on the cake to bring the whole look of the cake together. The bottom two layers of the cake are square and the top three are round. A small separator between the bottom three and the top two tiers are filled with white and pale pink flowers which makes the cake even more beautiful and elegant. Swarovski crystal trim is also added on the cake to give it a little bit of sparkle and to match the crystal monogram topper that the bride chose.

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
