A nice chicken vegetable stew ready for the eating; but you wont find any broth here on your first bite. Just cake! This fondant 50th birthday cake was made for Gosia. The old fashioned cooking pot was sculpted in blue fondant with edible sculpted fondant handles. Fondant peas, carrots, and chicken were molded to create the look of simmering stew. The customer provided us with a wooden spoon, board, and other large vegetable figurines but we could definitely create and sculpt these figures from fondant and cake too!

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
