The mushroom house is hand carved and made entirely of cake. Then the cake is iced in a buttercream and covered in yellow, blue, red, and brown fondant. The balcony, where the female smurf is standing, is molded entirely from a tan fondant. The doors, shutters, roof, and chimney of the house are also made out of various fondant colors, such as red, silver, navy blue, and tan. The Smurfs, who are popping their heads out of the windows, are molded entirely out of fondant and they add to the aesthetic beauty and theme of the cake. Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
