This 4-tier fondant wedding cake was a one-of-a-kind creation for a couple that got married at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany, New Jersey. The bride wanted to incorporate the cake with the whole theme of her wedding and with an idea in mind, we were able to create this beautiful piece. The bottom tier is covered with a gorgeous fondant drape while the top three tiers were made to mimic stacked pillows. The details on the cake were carefully designed to tie in each of the tiers together. The gumpaste peonies and lilies add a nice touch to this custom cake and simply completes the whole look. This cake is an intricate yet elegant piece of art.

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
