Gorgeous in five tiers, this full fondant custom cake is a stunning piece. Erica and Nick were married on May 2010 and they wanted a wedding cake that incorporated the hot pink theme color that they had going for the whole wedding. Erica had a beautiful bouquet of pink roses and she even had a pink pair of shoes on her special day. The cake had to be pink!

The quilted design on the cake is a soft design that gives the simple cake a nice touch. The two fondant bows complete the look of the cake with the fondant pink bands that go around each tier. To add a little more sparkle on the cake, aside from the pearlized shimmer, a couple of crystal pins and trim jewelry are also added on. The bride provided the perfect cake topper as well that brings the whole design of the cake together.

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
