Each tier is iced in fondant and molded as leather bound books. The bottom tier is done in a rustic fondant color with royal gold details. The second tier is made with brown fondant and orange fondant accents. The third tier is done in a metallic gold fondant. The fourth tier is made with gold and purple fondant. The brown fondant fifth tier is accented with burgundy and orange fondant. The sixth tier pops with a metallic purple fondant. The seventh tier also has a rustic color fondant with touches of gold. This 7-tier cake was even featured on the reality TV show “Whose Wedding Is It Anyway? on Style Network. Overall, this cake is perfect for any book worm with a sweet tooth!

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
