Celebrate your child’s next birthday with a cake inspired by his or her favorite characters! This two tier buttercream specialty cake is adorned with fondant edible images throughout. Edible fondant Mickey, Elmo, Cars, and Toy Story figures were used to personalize this first birthday cake for baby James. Lastly, an edible Mickey Mouse fondant figurine and an edible royal blue fondant one were created for the top tier. Marcy, James’s Grandma, posted this photo as well as the following message on facebook: “left lil cake..smash cake.. middle was my grandsons first birthday cake! it was gorgeous,exactly what we wanted.. thank you guys! everyone loved it”

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
