Palermo’s Bakery recently took part in a photoshoot for the Mansion at Natirar and with the theme in mind, this gorgeous vintage cake is Palermo’s creation. Iced in full fondant, the top and bottom tier of this 3-tier wedding cake is decorated with a quilted pattern and embellished with a dark silver gray textured band. The middle tier is piped with a delicate swirl pattern and given a brush of peach-bronze color to give it that vintage look. As a topper, a mix color of gumpaste flowers are put together to give this cake a fresh look.

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
