Westies Specialty Birthday Cake

Cake: SC-30150

Martin Scorsese’s daughter recently celebrated her birthday and the cake that we made was a simple fondant round cake that had 2 adorable fondant Westies on top! They were so cute — one had a blue collar and the other, red. To add more to the theme, fondant paw prints and dog bones were added along the sides of the cake.

They definitely loved the cake! We are looking forward to more cakes for the Scorsese’s as this is one of two that we have made for them!

Here’s a note from Martin Scorsese’s personal chef:

Mr and Mrs Scorsese said they were very pleased with all the cake’s. I will certainly call you when we need anything else
Good to work with you on all this.

Q: What are your cake pricing guidelines?
A: Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in buttercream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email. .

Q: What are your hours?
A: At our Ridgefield Park, NJ location, we are open Monday-Thursday and Sunday from 5:30 a.m – 8:00 p.m; Friday and Saturday from 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Union City retail store opens later at 7:00am daily. We are open 365 days a year including every major holiday!.
