Palermo’s has worked with catering halls, restaurants, and banquet halls throughout the past 25 years. Venues that include a cake within your party package usually provide a basic sheet cake or a selection of buttercream tiered cakes. Before beginning your cake selection process, it is best to ask your caterer what exactly they are providing for your event.
Our venue told us you are including a cake, so what do we do now?
Q:Where are you located?
Palermo Bakery’s original retail store and cake gallery is conveniently located at 187 Main St. Ridgefield Park, NJ. For our customers closer to Manhattan, we have recently opened our second location at 3701 Park Ave. Union City, NJ. Keep on the lookout for our major expansion project in Little Ferry, NJ expected to open in the second half of 2013.
Q:What are your cake pricing guidelines?
Cake pricing varies greatly depending on the level of detail in the design and the size of the cake itself. Birthday cakes and sheet cakes are the best priced cakes at the expense of design; they range from roughly $19.99 for a six person 7” cake to $150 for a 100 person full sheet cake. Tiered specialty cakes and wedding cakes, on the other hand, begin at $5 to $6 per slice in butter cream and $8 to $15+ per slice for fondant. The best thing to do is to inquire directly with a Palermo sales consultant regarding more exact pricing by phone or email.
