Winter Wedding Guide
The madness of Black Friday and Cyber Monday has passed and winter is finally here. And while this means holidays and New Years are inevitable, the winter is an extra special time of year – if you are a planning a winter wedding! At Palermo’s we would love to make your wedding a even more special with a gorgeous winter wedding cake, we also have some great ideas for your seasonal ceremony.
Having a winter wedding doesn’t mean that you have to opt for an all white wedding. While red and green tend to be the colors of the season, be careful to avoid overdoing it, as it can turn an elegant wedding ceremony to a holiday party. Tastefully incorporating touches of red pale blush pink, lilac purple, or wintery blue with white can be a perfect combination for this season without becoming too overbearing.
Simply introducing fur into your wedding dress can transform you from bride to a snowy princess. Chandelier-styled earrings, elbow-length gloves, and piercing red or purple (for the edgier bride) lipstick will tie the look together.
Don’t forget to bundle up your bridesmaids, winter wedding style!! Giving them muffs or letting them flaunt a bolero/cardigan is a tastefully toasty way to warm up your wedding.
